We're leaning towards Dub since that's how Prez saw it before and thought it was a really good job but you let us know!

For people who said this anime was originally dub or produced in English VA.. I think you guys have to understand in production animator often referenced JP voice lines to animate scenes, not always record afterward. It's Trigger Studio and JP is the original. While I understand and agree this dub is great, but please don't bend facts..

I would do dub just because to me not having the slang that is part of the cyberpunk world is kind of a huge disservice to the content itself. Aside from that dub also makes more sense based on the origin content as well.

Jap VAs are better (as always) but might be easier to get slang and stuff with dub

Both are great, but the slang is a large part of this anime, particularly in its world building, and with another season coming that will likely use the same slang. I personally prioritize Cara getting a proper experience with the dub, then Prez getting a minorly different experience with the sub. But it's all good, just immersion through proper dialogue I think is better

Sub ignoring all the slang is a pretty big negative. I would recommend Dub on this one.

For this particular one it really is a 50/50, so it's really between that unique experience of an actual good dub or a fresh experience for Prez. Personally I would lean towards sub as that is what Prez has not experienced.

as a "dub hater", I would say watch it in dub. After watching just sub for so many years you just cant get comfortable with dub at all. Even when I see some scene and I'm like damn that was somewhat good and then I tried just 1 ep I'm like... bruh I just cant xD

Whenever the option is available I always want to experience both. Since Prez has seen the dub, you should do the sub. Prez can have a different experience and maybe comment on that aspect.

The Dub is excellent and actually uses slang and language from the game which is obviously in English. This one makes sense to watch in English
