As far as when this came out. Season 2 aired during the Fall of 2023(I believe season 1 aired in the spring of 23) , so season 2 aired at the same time as Frieren and Apothecary Diaries. I could be wrong about this, but I remember thinking that I couldn't think of 3 shows that i looked forward to seeing so much airing at the same time.

Just wanna add that this anime has a lot of call backs so phrases or things that happened during all the eps so it feels like an easter egg hunt xD it's really subtle sometimes. So have fun getting the references in future eps. Also the direction it's crazy I'm rewatching this like for the fifth time and didn't realized that she was on the light and he on the shadows, small things like that are between all the eps so really have fun talking about all those details!!!

This is the most wholesome show ever made(with a few less than as bad as my dress up darling service) along with dealing with a self worth problem like is rarely brought up to this degree. We saw it in Dress up and Horimiya deals with it as well, but this is one for the ages.

This show is great. I’ve watched it a couple times now. There’s an obvious tone that starts it off. It’s just meant to be a representation of mindsets a lot of people had when they were younger. Obviously like it real like and in the show you can grow and mature out of these mindsets and perceptions.
