That's one of the biggest strengths of this show, because there are no real "villains" (well, except Oikawa 😂)

Technically it's not their last, but usually the Spring tournament coincides with the time when third years start preparing for the final high school exam which determines if you get into a good uni or not, so most third years stop playing after losing the Inter-Highs, like the Date Tech third years.
