There are currently three movies. And about 9 months ago it was announced that there will be a second season of the show covering the final books.

Mai is simply the best! ❤️ And now you have an even better understanding of my comment from episode 1: I would not consider this a romcom. It's more romantic suspense/mystery set in an alternate version of our world. Also, the title is entirely accurate and totally misleading.

It shouldn’t be considered a spoiler that the movie focuses on the Shoko mystery and is a great bookend to this season. It gives a lot of perspective to her appearances and shows how significant those appearances are.

The last episode always breaks me. Seeing Sakuta like that is heartbreaking. And when you think about it, he lost her sister twice. Ohhh man. This show is really something else.
