I don't know if you guys have done it already, or if someone has already recommended this, but you should seriously react to the english version of the opening. It's the same person singing as in the Japanese version, and you can actually fully understand the lyrics and its just a straight masterpiece of an OP.

Not to mention it would likely be the end of Strawberry Productions, especially early on when the company was probably struggling a lot already with B Komachi falling apart and Ichigo disappearing.

They don't reveal Ai was their mother because that would mean destroying her image. A teen idol having kids is a huge no-no, they'd be dragging her name through the mud.

Oshi no ko is written by the same person who wrote kaguya sama love is war (its REALLY incredible how he can pull off a hilarous romcom AND a semi-depression inducing one). He wrote both of them at the same time, which is just even more impressive
