That's because only the first volume of the light novels was named "Rascal does not dream of Bunny Girl Senpai" and every volume after that was named after the girl it focused on. Vol 2 was "Petite Devil" Vol 3 was "Scientific Witch" etc. The show is quite popular and has had three theatrical movie continuations and even more in the works.

Especially right now it feels like the title only refers to the first 3 episodes properly

To Prez’s point, I think this show would be so much more popular if it had a different title. The name combined with the cover art of a girl in a bunny costume had to have put people off of watching it. I wasn’t interested at all until you guys covered it.

Wish they would of given Futaba’s arc more time. They could of extended the flashbacks of when the trio first met or shown more of Kunimi’s relationship. Not sure if any of this happens in the source material but it would of been nice to see
