I mean they are signs that they are, in fact, not "alive" anymore. the biggest one is when jayce returned you could very clearly see his breath in the cold room beneath the gate. Salo didn't emit a classic cloud. he wasn't breathing. and the second even bigger part is all of them just collapsed when viktor was close to dying. and I don't really know how you can even argue that ww wasn't constantly dying when you could literally see him throw up some kind of magma lol

he wasn't keeping them alive they were just connected to him. They're not undeads or dying over and over (for warwick) at this point they're "percetly" alive and well but they're all connected to Viktor, they're still themselves but are connected to Viktor
