After seeing that you love to theorize and enjoy a plot that has comedy but knows how to be really serious, thought-provoking and memorable, I'll sugest my favorite show: Steins Gate. It is better if you you go blind because it is, imho, one of those shows you wish you watch again not knowing what it is about. As a side note, it is one of the best rated shows in MAL (with only 24 chapters + OVA) and has an english dub that is actually on the same level more or less as the japanese version (the comedy is localized for english speakers so its way funnier in english in my opinion)

Dead Dead Demon's Dedede Destruction It's adaptation of the latest series from a very revered mangaka, Inio Asano. Very popular in Japan but sadly hasn't gotten any traction in the English community. It's a story about relationships and people in a sci-fi end of the world scenario. Slice of life, mystery, sci-fi, politics and philosophy. No chance it gets voted in but gotta shoot my shot. Really love the series and author!
