huh yeah ok I just had in memory that he called her name. it has been a while since I watched S1 by now 😂 but I refuse to believe that they don't know that both of them are reincarnated. aint no way they played deities to gaslight miyako and thought "yup that's normal toddler behavior" 😂

He doesn't know. You need to go back and watch that episode. The context he says Sarina's name is simply that Ruby's obssession and behaviour when she was a child reminded him of Sarina. He said it to her while she was asleep and thinking aloud. It's crazy how close they came to finding out so soon though. Ruby literally woke up hearing that name and responded to it like it was her name. Aqua just didn't process it that way because... why would he? I mean technically he has reason to knowing she is another reincarnated person... but he has no reason to think it's her. As far as he knows he had just died when the birth happened. So how would Sarina, someone who died 4 years earlier, possibly be reincarnated there? That's still one of the big questions I have about how she is even Sarina in the first place, personally. Not that I want any Manga readers to answer that mystery. I want the show to tell me when it gets to it.

hooooo boy shit is going down. I feel really bad for ruby. also it's insane they never properly talked about their past lives like imagine how much that would have cleared up. especially since aqua called ruby "sarina" at the beginning of s1. so HE knows 😭
