After Akane's visual interpretation, you can fully interpret a third party interjecting into Himekawa's family. Simple loophole as in if Himekawa is only a half-sibling, there are a lot of things left unsaid then. You can also see why Himekawa would see his dad badly if he treated Himekawa badly or neglected him as if he weren't his son. Aqua accepted the first and most simple answer he thought of as if he had a confirmation bias to let the revenge go. It is as if Aqua is taking into consideration this 2nd life more hmm...what would his mom want him to do? Like Todo (JJK) said, "Attempting to find meaning in the death of the fallen, can, at times, defile the memories of those we've lost."

I can relate with Prez at the end here. I had the right idea of the mom cheating with Aqua's dad, and the husband not being the father of any of the three kids. Then the black and white animation that was supposed to explain what I already knew totally confused me and I had to go read the comments to get it straight again.

About the hospital, in S1 E1 the doctor(Aqua) told the nurse at the roof that he did his residence in that same hospital, that's when he met Sarina(Ruby), so the hospital is the same for everything. Ruby's past life, Aqua's past life, the doctor's death, and Ai giving birth to them 2 in their new lifes.
