one of my favourite episodes in the whole series fr!! one of the best flashbacks ever. thank you for sharing your story Prez. not always the easiest to talk about the things we try to exaggerate to make things seems grander than they are, but ig it's the struggle most of us face. gymnasium 3 gang ftw

Prez. You were right illusionary hero. is Tsukki and Tsukki's brother. Tsukki hero was his brother and Yamaguchi was Tsukki. They are parallels. How both Tsukki and Yamaguchi had there illusions washed away. To the "heroes" being just human and "lame" sometimes.

this episode has always been one of my absolute favourites. im an eldest sibling and had a huge inferiority complex in school cuz i wasnt able to hold up expectations my baby sisters had in me, and it was rough for a while. this character arc for tsukki all about a younger sibling being disheartened and losing respect for their elder sibling and finding inspiration out of it always broke my heart. its one of the reasons tsukkis arc is so good to me. i cannot wait to see your reactions to where it all progresses to, its definitely one of the most satisfying character arcs in anime

Tsukki’s brother was on the team but only the regulars and the bench players are allowed on the court. Tsukki’s brother wasn’t necessarily “bad” but because Karasuno was a powerhouse school back then so there were just many other skilled players in the club and he wasn’t good enough to make it.
