…..to clarify, the “DISDAIN” spoken of before, is in regards to the decision to send them on a suicide mission and the overt act, from her “SUPERIORS”, of NOT caring that they are sending PEOPLE to their CERTAIN death.

Recall how her father “Broke the rules” to take a helicopter out there, and subsequently was KIA. Look back to the BRIBE $he had to pay to get fireworks to them, under the guise of “supplies”!! I am sure there is a part of her that always wanted to come, to see them. However, the hardhips, obstacles, and loss, is what FINALLY gave her the strength to say “FUCK IT” and go out there on a transport. Yes, it hurt. Yes, there are ONLY fleeting “what if” memories that exist but……. GO BACK and LOOK AT HER EYES WHEN SHE IS STANDING ON THE TRACKS!!!! STANDING IN THE WAY OF ANY FUTURE BATTLE!!! THOSE EYES HAVE PURPOSE!!! THOSE EYES HAVE STRENGTH!!! FUELED BY THE RAGE, DISDAIN, AND SORROW OF HER LOST SQUAD!!! I PITTY the next man/“superior”/enemy that intends to deter her drive or control her actions!!

If you guys are interested in getting deeper in the symbolisms, directions and hidden messages of the series, I recommend watching the ctrlaltqq 3 part series about 86, even if it is at your own time (after you finish the series) You will definitely enjoy it.

So on the subject of the mechanic, there's something in Fido's memories that I didn't catch until recently. If you go back and watch it, the ball comes in and hits his head, knocking his sunglasses off. He then deliberately holds his clipboard to hide his eyes. When he's yelling at the kids, it just looks like he's shading his eyes from the sun, but when he turns back around to face Fido inside the hanger, he still keeps his eyes covered.
