16:37 an explanation about this part: ichikawa usually uses two different pronouns: he usually uses ore for school and other outside situations, and boku when he feels more relaxed. Yamada knows it because she heard he talking with his sister that time. So, in this scene, she says she know he was having fun because he was using boku the whole time, without realizing it. Since English doesn't have different pronouns for I, the translators tried to adapt it.

I'm a big fan of your channel and I subbed to catch up with your Dangers in my Heart reactions, since you're one of my favorite reaction channels ever, and this is my all-time favorite romance! I'm happy that y'all are loving it! Lemme just take this chance to also reccomend that you watch Twi-yaba in between seasons! It was a series of shorts that released as a bonus episode between the seasons, it's a highly underrated part of the series imho and not a lot of people have reacted to it! lol I’m a guy, but will admit I’ve teared up watching their wholesome interactions. Plus the OST during those moments really adds to it! I love Kensuke Ushio’s work on this and a silent voice

For the post ending scene, since Nigorikawa represent the heart of Ichikawa, to me it just seems like him trying to convince himself it's going to be ok and fighting anxiety trying to sleep, the scene might look weird but it's not

There's just something about the way Yamada is desperate for any ounce of attention and connection with the boy she likes, and so happy when she gets it, that's sweeter than any other anime girl I can think of. I don't know what it is, maybe the fact we never really get inside her head the way we do Ichikawa.
