and I didn't even liked the manga because the first few volume look "weird" so I quit and waited for s2 but then after s2 finished I was like hell nah I'm waiting 5 years for a "possible" s3 and I jumped to the manga and damn it's even more peak than s2 idk how but it just is hahahah

it is the best romcom ever, the first 2 episodes are just a bit meh, i'm up to date with the manga and HOLY is it great.

"I can't have it so I'm gonna make myself believe that I hate it" this mindset goes back to the start of the series when Ichikawa acted like he hates everyone. He thought that nobody wanted to be friends with him so he convinced himself that he hates them.

That is what we love about Dangers in my Heart. Just the overall sweetness that gives us all diabetes.. and the slow natural character progression of Ichikawa and Yamada. Not only as a potential romantic couple together, but opening up and growing as a person individually. Ichikawa is probably one of the better written "self insert" romcom protagonists out there because of the depth and love given to his personal growth. Yamada is also one of the better "waifu" female love interests in anime, because she also isn't just some vessel that the male audience can self insert as being the perfect one for them who will grant unconditional and undeserved attention/love. Yamada is actually written as a girl. A teenage girl who is her own person with her own dreams to strive for and issues to deal with.

I saw the Anna's persistence in the end to keep talking as an attempt to find something in common.. Most topics fizzled out as them having different tastes and she wanted something in common before they parted.

the "do you have line" bit is one of the most pulse-elevating sequences in this show I swear. I was one dense little autist in school but even I wasn't THAT dense. ichikawa is such a lil idiot, but he's OUR lil idiot.

Cara's cuteness aggression sort of reaction was exactly how I felt watching the show. I'm so glad because that exact feeling of wholesomeness and warmth that this show gave me was what I had hoped you guys would feel too

@Xaniss ngl I normally dont do a "top" anime list because for me I feel like each anime has its own good areas so it's really hard for me to make my own top list" I sincerely put s1 as an 8/10 and when I was like ok I gotta try to make at least a top 10 for a first time I put peak on my heart as number 1, because I was in the mentally what anime I would the most sad if get completely destroy and never found it.

i already loved this show by ep 3... but on my first watch that moment was what shot this anime into my top 15 of all time... the fact that it avoids the ANNOYING chiche's such as what you said taht other romances do too much. (it's my 2nd fav anime of all time after season 2 btw)

Actually, chocolate is not supposed to be given on white day. The holiday was actually initiated by a marshmallow company . V-day recipients are supposed to give a white return gift like cookies, candies, trinkets or as the company hoped, marshmallows.

The thing about this ep is that it felt like a slap to all romcoms where any MC has a problem or is there any misunderstanding you get like 3 or 4 ep about that and see who tries to apologize or "let the problem die and just forget about it". But Yamada the GOAT said fck this sht and went to him and asking to his face hey are you mad with me? is there a problem? did I make a mistake? That's why from this point it's just more and more peak. Also, just Valentin and white day are days on which you normally give chocolates, girls give chocolate on Valentin and guys give chocolate on white day. Christmas even though there are ppl who celebrate it "normal" like just family it still like almost a second valentine day where you have a couple of promotions, events, etc etc literally like a second valentine day

Our boy is progressing! If you noticed Yamada asked Ichikawa if he likes video games it’s because she wanted to invite him to her house to play sometime before they were interrupted by senpai pick up artist’s side chick. And the scene where she hugged him and he said “I never said that” he was the girl from the manga 😂 but yeah one of my favorites of season 1! Next episode your hearts will melt! Can’t wait for your continued reactions
