Personaly I like the writing of s2 even more than s1, can't wait to see their reactions to s2.

On the plus side, if the writing is as good as s1 and the OVA i cant wait for more seasons. if s2 is is as good as it sounds by the comments i may need to pick up the LN.

Season 1 (Volumes 1-3 & 4-9) - Arc 1 & 2 - Arc 3 Season 2 (Volumes 10-15) - Arc 4 Season 3 (Volume 16-20) - Arc 5 to be adapted: - Arc 6 (Volumes 21-25) as S4? - Arc 7 (Volumes 26-33) as a two-cour S5? - Arc 8 (Volumes 34-37+) as S6 And since Tappei, the author, has said that he has planned a total of 11 arcs, there is still another 3 Arcs left to be written, once Arc 8 is done... can't wait to watch S10 of Re:Zero w/ my grandkids

Don't worry, it's normal to have more questions than answers, the series is still kinda at the beginning after all. Season 2 ends at volume 15 of the Light Novel, and the Light Novel is already at volume 37 and still going, so I think it will take a wile for us to have most answers. And about the ice sculptures in the mansion, they were made in the other OVA that is most like a filler that happened the day before.

I haven't watched season 2 and don't know shit about what's next in terms of story but I really think that Puck's second name "The Beast of the End" was not given him for nothing, because at the beginning of episode 18 when he met Subaru in his big form he said that, according to the contract, he will put an end to the world. So the whole contract thing is really fascinating to think about, for me at least. Who the hell did Puck sign the contract with and why is he powerful enough to "End" the world? So many questions fr

Something that really stuck out to me is Puck, but the best way i can put it into words is Puck was 2 different characters before and after the contract. For example before the contract he seemed openly hostile to everyone and everything that isn't Emilia. He was outright savage in way he killed that family. And in S1 which is obviously after the events of this episode he seems alot more chill and friendly and only going "Fromsoft" mode when Emilia dies. I honestly think its me just overthinking it and taking the whole breaking his oath changed who he is too literal. People saying this OVA is somewhat important for s2 made my mind look at every scene and dialogue, overthinking everything that happened. And finally black snake has me thinking its some sort of huge ass snake 1 because of all that venom only a massive snake could produce so much and 2 because it has same naming scheme as the white whale. Sorry for the wall of text and jibberish ramblings but with all that said i am excited to see s2 for the first time with you both.
