I do really like how even after the rem speech Subaru doesn’t change completely but it’s still clear he’s making an effort to be better, like he catches himself sometimes in episode 19, its just pretty realistic that he didn’t immediately fix everything about himself in a day

trust the process, also this is the kind of series where the people that like it usually have a strong emotional attachment to it (including myself) so that’s why people can be very passionate about it, once this episode hits YT it’ll definitely calm down

Yeah in rem’s POV, she knows that Subaru love’s Emilia and just because she confessed doesn’t mean Subaru would just jump ship… well he kinda did when he was not mentally okay by asking her to run away but he was not thinking straight at that moment

Fun fact: The author of Re: Zero releases IF stories every April Fool's day, subarus' birthday, he wrote a what if story where subaru and rem run away instead, and they get married and have two kids and actually have a wholesome happy life. It’s called Sloth IF.
