Funny thing is that despite Sengoku's father dating policy, he had Sengoku at an early age. Hori and Sengoku are the same age as are Sengoku's father and Hori's mom. Considering Hori's parents had her when they were young, you can see the irony of it.

I think the scene with Remi wanting more affection from Sengoku now makes sense when Miyamura imagined a world he didn't meet and be friends with everyone, Sengoku and Remi were cold and seemingly not dating. It's probably because Sengoku stayed too uptight without his friend group and they probably eventually broke up as he was probably less receptive to the affection and didn't provide it's really sad when you think about it.
