For a bit of context. "The running toast" is like "meeting bumping someone in a cafe" is like the most cliche way to meet someone in anime and also one of the most used ways to start a slice-of-life romance anime in the old days. Also normally the one bumping is a girl and the guy is a transfer student. Also the girl normally yells "I'm late" while running xD
