More than 40-50 times I re-watch this anime, I'm still feel the same as Cara, every times I hear Killua's scream, it so painful and hopeless as he forced to watch his dearest friend do something equal to committed a suicide in front of him, and he can't do a thing about it!

it's hard to imagine how much pain and guilt gon felt to even do this. it's not like everyone who is about to lose a fight or who wants revenge can just go "i'll never use nen again!!!" real quick then blitz their opponent. this was a 12 year old's soul cracking x.x

The first time we heard killua's footstep when he jumled in to save gon. On another note, its just semantics, but the term nen genius is used for people like komugi, but she is just a gungi genius, so much so that her body used life energy itself to cater for her growth at the game. Just like morel said to killua when he saw pitou, Because he witnessed an anomaly, he lost all sense of scale and stated that no human could beat them(which every hunter did at first sights of them) So The fact that Pitou did the same thing when she saw gon says a lot. He became an anomaly to the anomaly. Gon is the only real nen genius we saw,other than maybe meruem. His peak dwarfed the sense of a mix of carefully selected lifeforms. And to think he was just some kid on an island. Damn

Hate being the nerd but supposedly the "his power is now equal to the King" is a mistranslation its supposed to be that he's more of a threat to the King but in my opinion it just makes this episode so much better lmao

My thoughts tbh is when he said “I’ll use everything” the power he was able to summon at the moment was definitely too much for his current body to hold, so while summoning all that nen is forced his body to mature to a point strong enough to contain it all and wield it. I actually don't believe Gon is at his peak here. He still looks pretty young. Remember how old Netero looked even before reaching his peak or how Killuas grandpa looks right now. So I genuinely think peak Gon is even stronger than Meruem (pre upgrade) which is insane to think about
