That's exactly how we described it last eps I think, and that's okay if not the fact she's supposed to be the second main character (ish), Im sure opinions will change later in the season but right now it's a mixed bag

Emilia is cool but I agree, right now she's the least interesting of the main cast. She's consistently in the role of the "damsel in distress" role which is a shame cos she indeed has alot of potential. She shines this season, and looking at the previews for next season.. she gets better as an independant force. Anime only here.

I think we will need more of S2 to hopefully like her more, we don't dislike her to be clear but right now many characters feel far more enjoyable to watch (development or what they bring to the table)

Emilia is a great girl, season 1 was obviously a very strong season for Rem and that's why Emilia caught some hate but I believe season 2 really lets Emilia shine more. At the end of the day both Emilia and Rem are best girls and are perfect wives for our boy Subaru.

She is liked, most of the hate for her comes because many people prefere rem. I always liked her more then rem but i get the point why some people dont like her.

Emilia gets a lot of development for this season so I don't want to give my thoughts on her yet as most of why I like her hasn't happened yet but I do like her alot
