There are some “extra” scenes that provide more context and keep up the hype that they couldnt include in the original because of runtime limitations Also for season 1 ending the directors cut includes a scene from s2. Since ur watching s2 right after it shouldnt matter but its an infinitely cooler way to end s1 than the original
