IF the first idea doesn't float people's boat. How about a nice Merge/Fusion and possession idea. Basically and evil character will merge their body with a heroine, takeover the body in the process. The end result is a nice fusion of the two with the evil character in charge of the combined body. Literally hundreds of different characters you could choose to do with this. Doesn't have to involve demons....but if you want to than just make it interesting.
