Chapter 110 The Vixen and the Heir

I really wish I had friends like these back then, people I could trust, if I had that… I’m sure things would have gone differently once my sons turned against me.

Time in Konoha was undoubtedly having a big effect on me; I had no doubt about that. I had to spend a lot of time centering myself and reminding myself of my true mission.
Konoha, it wasn’t the end for me; it was just the beginning.
And that beginning was coming to a close; I could feel it.
The clan had put a lot of effort into promoting me over the years, in particular in the last year. The clans already know that it's likely a new Hokage will be chosen shortly after the war, and they are all preparing.
This meant the Hyūga clan was using me to promote Hiashi. I was proof of the clan’s strength; everyone, even civilians, knew that the main family was stronger than the branch family.
Which meant if I was already so strong, then Hiashi must be even stronger.
Whether or not that being true didn’t really matter, in this war, Hiruzen Sarutobi didn’t fight even once, so clearly, it wasn’t all that important that the Hokage was that strong. And Hiashi was still strong, and with me by his side… I was confident that we could take down that old monkey, even if he wasn’t that old just yet.
I knew it, and the clan did too, so there was no hesitation in pushing me forward and making Hiashi’s chances better.
There was only one problem. One person, one man who wouldn’t want to see it. Well, not just one.
Four.
Four people wouldn’t want to see the Hyūga clan having a candidate for Hokage, and one of those men… would stop at nothing to make sure of it.
The missions I was given lately had greater risks, while nothing happened… I knew it was only a matter of time before something happened.
The problem was… I didn’t know what to expect. Surely he wasn’t foolish enough to send a possible S-rank Kunoichi to their death? A rare clan lord? Not during a war, right? Well… one didn’t know with him.
I also suspected that he might try to deal with me like he did the White Fang, ruining my reputation… which, honestly, wouldn’t be too difficult; if anything, I made it almost too easy.
If he were to reveal my affair with Koji, that would be a massive hit to the Hyūga clan's reputation, and he could easily spin it in ways to ruin the clan’s chances of having Hiashi elected as Hokage.
The best time to do that, however, would still be after the war itself, in particular, after I became pregnant, he could easily sow doubt about the father, and that would be the death of Hiashi’s dreams to be Hokage.
Still, the fact that these last few quests had risks of running into other S-rank combatants was suspicious.
Every village only had a few of those, with Konoha having the most. So, yeah, running into them was rare… though I couldn’t be sure if it was his scheme. After all, as one myself, it was only reasonable to send me on a mission where the possibility of meeting one existed, as only another could survive that.
Still, being a bit suspicious of things was healthy for a shinobi; it could be the difference between living and dying. More so when I knew I should be on guard against the village itself.
Though I was sure that if Danzo was willing to risk the war by getting rid of one of the village's ace cards, it likely wouldn’t be me, but Fugaku instead.
Danzo hated the Uchiha clan far more than he did the Hyūga, and it would be easy to ruin Hiashi's chance due to my secret relationship. So, he could keep me alive, let the village have one more S-rank Kunoichi, and get rid of an S-rank Uchiha.
“It’s rare to see you out here, and so deep in thought. What got your attention?” Hiashi’s voice came from behind.
I looked back briefly, checking that it indeed was him and not his brother, they are, after all, identical twins, and I wasn’t that close with Hizashi to be able to spot them apart based just on their voice.
Thankfully, the seal, or the lack of it, on their foreheads made it easy.
“And it's rare to see you out there, no work keeping you busy?” I said, looking back out towards the village.
“Well, I was sitting in my office working, and I noticed I was making good progress, which is suspicious, because, normally, when I start working like that, some vixen comes and interrupts me.” He said as he stepped closer.
“Ahh, so you got horny and wanted to fuck?” I teased him, looking back just so I could see his expression, and he did indeed make a funny face; despite the years this, he never got better.
“Wahh, Yuki! You can’t say such things. I was simply worried about you, that’s all.” He coughed, trying to hide his embarrassment.
“I was just thinking about the last few missions; they all seemed more dangerous than others, so I couldn’t help but wonder if the war is going worse than expected, or at least reported.”
“Hmmm, it's true that the last period of time has been extra lethal; more of our clansmen have fallen. It's likely, or at least hopefully, the final push from the other villages.” Hiashi said after a moment.
“We can only hope that some peace would be good.” I said, but didn’t believe it. Itachi was three years old, and he would be four when Fugaku would take him out, which meant the war would continue for a while longer, at least another six months.
However, I recall that Kumo continued the war for a long time after the other villages, so I suspected it would last at least a year, if not more.
But… maybe just maybe… the other villages would step out soon.
“I hadn’t expected how depressing it would be to talk about the current situation,” Hiashi said after a moment, trying to lighten the mood.
I snorted. His attempt was cute if nothing else.
“Regretting not accepting that you were horny already? I could have been using my tongue for something other than saying depressing things.” I winked up at him.
“Yuki!” he quickly looked around, as if scared someone would have heard us.
It was cute, despite both of us knowing for a fact that hundreds of clansmen, if not thousands, had seen us having sex using their Byakugan, he still acted so shy about it.
“Please, Hiashi, even if anyone was near, they would pretend they didn’t hear anything, or saw anything. You remember that time I snuck into the mall, changing rooms for the hot spring? And right as you were fucking me—”
“Yuki, you don’t have to remind me, I still can’t look him in the eye after that.” He stopped me from continuing.
I quickly stood up and threw myself against him, “Don’t be like that, Hiashi. Your dick didn’t complain about it back then, or the time when your father knocked on the door, calling you to a meeting you were late for, I’m sure you remember just what you were doing rather than sitting in that meeting.” I whispered into his ear while my hand snuck into his kimono, rubbing over his crotch.
He quickly tried to push me off, but I didn’t let him. I wasted no time sneaking my hand into his pants and made contact with his still flaccid length, but it didn’t remain flaccid for long. "You are impossible." He groaned as I began pumping his cock.

Despite everything, Hiashi too was also feeling immense pressure; his father had taken ill, and while he could still offer some help, it was clear that he would be stepping down soon.
While Hiashi hadn’t really gone off to the front, his father had done so in the last two wars, and old injuries were causing him problems, so Hiashi was basically already doing the clan leader’s work.
Which included dealing with the deaths, paying out pensions, making sure orphan children were taken care of, sending a personal letter thanking their family, or paying a visit to those two who got crippled in the field.
All that was stressful. And I just happened to be able to help him with that.
I looked around. We were in a pretty open area indeed, on top of one of the lookout towers that oversaw the clan compound, since we had our own walls and all.
Though it wasn’t really a tower, just a raised platform with a roof. Hardly the most private place, since I had picked it precisely for its view.
But… that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I would be the first to admit that I was into Voyeurism and Exhibitionism, and as much as Hiashi tried to deny it, a few years of doing such things with me had gotten him onto it, even if much less than I.

Hiashi laughed but didn't complain. Instead, he reached around and gripped my ass.
And then, we began again, giving the more curious and shameless members of the clan a show.
I even spotted the clan head once, no doubt having heard about it, and checking it for himself, making sure that his son was practising hard on making an heir.
It’s important to rest, particularly in high-stress situations, not dealing with the stress, which can be dangerous, and I… I liked dealing with it. because I knew… it wouldn’t be long before I would be without it.
Because while Yuki could sleep around, Kaguya couldn’t.
