Hey, last season Conrad did say that not being with Belly was causing him physical pain, so yeah, now he’s unconsciously hurting himself on purpose. Of course his solution to painful separation anxiety back then was to put an entire country between him and Belly. For the first time this entire show, we get some character development as Saint Conrad finally climbs down off that cross of his and acts like a human being instead of a martyr. I like him, but the beach scene is probably the most honest thing he’s done and something’s finally different about the way he’s handling his feelings. As for Taylor’s call with Lucinda, let’s just say it adds new perspective to “Friends Don’t Let Friends Dial Drunk”, the Plain White T’s song definitely wasn’t about phone calls to your mom tho.

Conrad absolutely broke me this episode. I literally could not stop crying watching the beach scene. I swear if we don't get a happy ending this season, I am going to sue for emotional damage.
