Sitting up slight, he lifted his covers, only to be greeted by an unwelcome sight. It was going to be one of those mornings. Most days, Shawn would awaken to a more manageable level of arousal, something a brisk shower would subdue. But today his long friend was present in full force, throbbing to whatever forgotten dream had put him into this state. He groaned sullenly as he took his considerable length in hand. He knew from previous experience that if he ignored the situation, the chill of the shower wouldn't be enough to quell the uprising completely, leaving his already prominent bulge even more noticeable. Hardly fitting for work. No, on days such as this one, he had to deal with the problem quickly and efficiently. As he reached for his phone to provide some visual stimuli, he noticed it was already after seven o'clock, leaving him less than an hour to topple his daunting morning wood, complete his morning routine, and be out the door. "Damn it..." He sighed, his rod briming with vim and vigor. "I'm going to be late for work again."
Awhile ago, I said I had a story idea for a pre-dating Nick and Judy, but then got the flu and forgot it. Well, I remembered it. The idea to the illustration "Hand over Fist" was Nick waking up with morning wood, deciding he had time to deal with it before work, unaware his overeager partner had arrived to make sure he wasn't sleeping in. Instead of going back, I just moved the idea over to Shawn, since I hadn't drawn him in a bit.
