It's not as smooth as I'd like, but I don't really understand Keyframes and inbetweening with Clip. But I figured I should do something with this since I spent so much time on it.

You’ve been busy! Quickest way is to examine movements in other works. Easier back when Laserdisc was en vogue, but if you come across something that shows movement or the results you’re looking for, record it then scrub/tease it apart. Cartoons have tons of tricks/short-cuts built in. Start there.
