Two sides of the same idea, Jack could only hear Nick and Judy but could make noise, whereas Sharla can see Nick and Judy but can't make noise. Also, at first Gideon was in the closet too but I dropped that idea for the story but used that premise for that old image of Gideon and Sharla fucking in a closet.
