I posted shortly after Lupines comment, but it didn’t take. In Ch3, Judy’s under the influence of a controlled substance. And acting on raw animal instinct. Which means she feels rather than listens. So any voices she hears is going to have that woozy, underwater sound/effect to it. Akiric tried to do with words what we would hear under similar drug influences in movies. I felt he was successful in portraying that influence. Risky, but it payed-off!

Well it's sorta English, it was my pretentious artistic choice to garble up the words to convey Savage Judy confusion... probably not the best move on my part, but oh well
