She didn't seem to mind, though she wasn't the type that seem to mind much of anything as long as she got to be with her buck. The smile that constantly graced her muzzle was one that seemed reserved only for him, as his serious often temperamental vixen was not always the most friendly sort. Even he, with all of his love for her, often found himself wondering how she ever completed a mission with the temper that she showed so freely. That wasn't to say that she was without her charms, obviously. Sitting across from him wearing a red dress that revealed enough of her white, silky fur to have him wondering if she had bothered to wear anything under it, there was an undeniable sparkle of pleasure and affection in her blue eyes.
“I’m surprised that you didn’t forget our anniversary this year,” she said, her paw stretching out across the table to rest over the top of his. The golden jewelry that she wore on her wrist and forearm told him that she took this occasion seriously, because she very rarely felt the need for it. Though really, he had learned how seriously she took it the year before when she had threatened to throw him out of a window for forgetting. He could see from the devious sparkle in her eyes that she was remembering the same thing he was as she continued in a playful drawl that intentionally thickened with her accent, “I suppose we’re both lucky. When we get home tonight, the only thing I’ll be threatening is your stamina.”
“I don’t know why I put up with you,” he said, his tone playfully serious even as he heard her mutter something about how well she sucked bunny cock under her breath while hiding her grin behind her glass of fine white wine. “It must be love. Or how well you suck bunny cock.”
The fact that he said those words in a plain speaking tone while they set in a restaurant full of mammals caused even the bold and temperamental Skye to choke down the sip of wine she had taken. The tinkle of laughter that followed caused his own mouth to curve upwards in a smile before he turned his attention to the maître d' on the other side of the room. He raised one paw in signal, the response to which was a quick nod from the tall elk before he rushed over to whisper in the ear of the band leader. Knowing the song that would be played, Jack stood and offered his paw to the still grinning vixen.
“I hope you don’t mind a little exercise,” he commented as she allowed herself to be drawn to her feet with a curious expression. An expression that turned to heady laughter when he led her to the dance floor and yanked her against him. “We have to work up an appetite, after all.”
“Aww, you remembered,” she commented when the band struck a note and started to play the quick, danceable beat of Hernando's Hideaway. “I never knew you were such a romantic.”
“I’m not romantic. I’m just trying to get into your panties,” he said, grinning as she reached up to loosen his tie as she looped paw over his shoulder. This allowed her to balance herself when his paw slid up her thigh, lifting it until they were in a half dip with dozens of faceless mammals watching.
“Why Jack, how dare you,” she replied in a sultry mummer, her face going from feigned shock to adoring heat as she held his gaze. “Why would I wear underwear on a date with you?”
