pixel art project update

this week i started designing and animating the moves for the harpy enemy you'll be encountering in the cliffs area of the game- She's gonna be a bit of a reference to the ones encountered in bastard bonds, and her design will be pretty close to the ones encountered there-
this is the first pass at the moveset, i really wanted her song attack to mimic the swan lake death of the swan ballet move, but cgb wasn't so keen on the idea and we went for something simpler, also the move where she flies offscreen had to be simplified since it would've been a bit of a mess to implement
Here's the final sketch for the moveset, with the simplified song attack-
after doing that i went and started animating the first move, the claw attack
first the idle...
.. and then the attack itself, a nice mid air somersault.
aand i'm gonna be honest i haven't done much more, the enemy is p complex with articulated movements so in the end it's all i could do this week
but! cgb gave me permission to show some ingame footage of the enemy i worked on last time, the armor gator- in this gif you can see all the moves i worked on the past weeks already included in the game-

Really nice man! The gator in action looks rather fearsome, and the harpy sure looks interesting as well. And I do can see what you mean about swan song, it does look pretty sick moves and all, I do believe the second version you made is a bit better for the setting of cap's game. Still a cool idea maybe to keep in mind for any of your settings too I would say ;3.
