🕑 Added 2025-01-31 04:32:38 +0000 UTCanother week, another request, this time it's Jovik Darkson 's turn , that asked a pic featuring senshi and a few other famous anime dwarves ( no ghim? <:( ) eating something strange in a dungeon and turning into sex crazed monster hybrids. I didn't know most of the dwarves listed so i went with those i found more attractive, and picked garrus from reincarnated as a sword and gondo from overlord. I also never finished reading dungeon meshi so i don't know if they end up finding out the dungeon is a living thing that can be eaten, so i went with the original-ish idea (actually straight up lifted from dungeon keeper) of a dungeon sprouting from a core that generates all the environment around it as well as the monsters that populates it. I suppose it's like a sort of coconut in terms of edibility, so the dwarves sit down to enjoy it cooked into a soup , only to find out that consuming something that can generate all manners of monsters and whose whole purpose is to breed and spawn more of them might be a bad idea-

Wow, I really love what you have done here. The lore you put in makes it really spicy, and each dwarf becomes a different kind of monster, making it really awesome.

One turned into demon papa smurf😂 It's spoilers but while similar yes there is a supernatural origin but the environment must be made self sustaining, to a degree. And with anime out... part of the appeal of the eponomous one is quirk of enabling immortality. Or at least you can not age or die. But usual 'who wants to live forever, make peace with death' moral ensues. The last season didn't *end* on that reveal Yeah ghim struggles due to his series gets lost even in old anime appreciation. Plus ya know actual lotr Doesn't he take a bit to shine and then... oh well

DUDE I LITERALLY FINISHED WATCHING THE ANIME YESTERDAY THIS IS SO TOPICAL FOR ME SPECIFICALLY SENSHI IS SO HOT HELL YEAH dwarves are the hottest humanoids (after orcs), and minotaurs are my favorite, so this is doubly incredibly hot for me!

You make a fair point. We're so focused on Senshi just be made into a bull I didn't notice the variety. The blue man, he's more of a half beast like Hank Mccoy from the xmen. Then there is the demon. You're right, we do need more supernatural dwarves. Short, fat, fuzzy fiends and celestials would be are actually incredibly inspired. But that's why I support you, you think outside the box. Thank you for explaining your thought process.

As someone who's started watching the old Record of Lodoss War OVA, I can relate to that particular parenthesis. Still, very nice job on these, and I like your conceptualization of a dungeon core as a coconut, makes me think of the soup having the flavor of Thai coconut soup :0

i don't mind personally, actually i find it fun for them to be like all the other races. I definitely want to see more dwarven vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, etc. It's only natural for them to have the equivalent spooks and haunts as humans and other cultures have XD

I feel conflicted, the concept execution are spectacular as usual. But I'm always conflicted when people choose to alter dwarves. They're already perfect why make them into something else?
