Hero's heart- intermission 1
🕑 Added 2024-12-10 04:13:48 +0000 UTCheyo peeps, since meek couldn't work on the update this week, i decided to test this little thing i wanted to do for a while, hopefully i can make it work. So you'll notice this update is quite short, this is because i want this lil intermission to update like, everyday, (dunno if i'll be able, but i'll try XD), to assure a more granular and more active interaction from the players! Consider it a side story where the narrative takes a bit of a backseat to your commands. That said, there are still rules for this of course , please READ THEM before you comment !
RULES FOR THE INTERMISSION:
The STARS can perform up to three actions per turn, based on the three most liked comments. At this stage of the ring's existence, CONSTELLATIONS are not available.
When a STAR is chosen, it must RECHARGE for one turn. This means it cannot be selected again in the turn immediately after it is used.
STARS can perform two types of actions:
COMMAND – A suggestion for a party member to use an ability, an item, or perform a specific action. The party trusts the STARS and will try to carry out the request to the best of their ability. COMMANDS do not consume ENERGY.
STARBURST – A magical effect tied to the STAR's domain. This action consumes 1 ENERGY and can target the BEARER OF THE RING or another individual. However, the effect always originates from the BEARER OF THE RING and only applies to a single target. Attempts to make it affect multiple targets will be disregarded.
At the start of each turn, readers vote to determine who will be the next BEARER OF THE RING.
RESOURCES are used for characters’ various abilities and recharge by +2 each turn. Certain actions can also replenish them. ENERGY does not automatically recharge each turn and must be restored through specific actions or events.
Although only three actions are selected per turn, characters can hear all comments directed at the ring as faint whispers. They may respond to any comment that catches their attention.

Adventure Star: A great start to our adventure this is! Lyre, those two beasts will definitely try and attack Caitano first. But you can stop them with your music. Instead, why don't you use your frolic spell to make then show affection to the healer? That'll keep them busy for the others to take them out. And would give you quite the show to enjoy.

Advisor Star: Oh my! Malefactors approach! ... Knocking them into the ravine *does* sound like a good plan. Would you attempt a Repel, my good Bard? Even if it doesn't directly force them into the pit, it should slow them down at least so that your Cleric friend can push them into it with more ease.

If my action DOESN'T go through, I'll just say: "They say the Heat is the will of the planet and the Druids worship the planet. Is it possible one of the Druids caused the Heat? What's in the center of the Earth?"
