Patreon devlog update 123: deals with the devil
🕑 Added 2024-11-10 05:32:14 +0000 UTCwell, not much to say about this update, i spent most of these two days animating mammon, the devil you summon when you use the "shop" spell.
in the sketch i drew of him when i was doing some concepts for his design he had this two forms, one that is a stereotypical shady figure and another that is more like a demonic dragon of greed-
i debated with rick whether we actually needed the shady salesman form since when you use the shop spell you probably expect to actually summon a shop or something. In the end we decided to keep him, he'll invite himself in the luxury suite when he starts to smell the smell of money (or sins, the currency of hel) coming from your mortal wallet, harry the hellnaut.
he'll stay in this form and won't sell you anything , but he'll keep watching you as you accrue more sins during your stay at the casino-
when you finally obtain the shop spell and use it on him, he'll finally open shop and revert to his draconic form-
from here on you'll be able to buy a variety of items. Some of wich are used to solve some of the puzzles, while others are items you use to corrupt the people in the casino to obtain more sins from them-
