Porsche 961 LM V1.6 Assetto Corsa

One of my favourite car is Porsche 959 and 961 LM. Extraordinary, succesfull and bueatifull.

What version is this? Originally 961 LM was converted by me, then Shokeus refreshed it, made visually more prefect. Then it was series of physics and animation updates. Now it's complete, at least i think for today.
10.2023 - v1.6 update. all new Engine, susp, aero etc (don't look at CM analizer, it's incorrect). Average lap time of Suzuka stayed the same, but now car have totally different feeling, better one, and dont have jumpy actions on the curbs

Just correcting MPK, the car does belong alongside the Group C cars :)

That Porsche actually raced at Le Mans in 1986 as a 961. It raced under Imsa GTX regs I believe.

Some of the others on here may like the Dakar refresh. I'll love the Rondeau - no matter which version it is. I love the story behind them too - its part of what makes them so cool.

Understood =) Asked because i made cinversion of 959 dakar before and was thinking about refreshing it visually. Like Porsche, especially from that era. Group C is coming with Rondeau early C car...soon =)

959 Dakar ? Not really my thing - rally cars don't interest me at all. I'll admit it's pretty, but I don't want to drive it! But I understand some people like that type of racing more than others... for me Group C rules!
