You may be able to convince him to turn over and lay there, but getting him to perform? No. LOL. If he's gonna bottom, he's gonna be a pillow princess. Fletch is doing all the work.

That position is much better when they're laying back against you and you're there rubbing your hands all over them. Better for the bottom-top-bottom... receptive partner... when they're laying back too and not putting all the weight on their joints :p
