And the plot thickens ๐Ÿ˜ˆ Knowles defo caught something in the first season like I defo donโ€™t think that he would feel someone up just for the sake of it. And now that he found out Charlotte is a noble it broke whatever he thought he felt and now heโ€™s back to somewhat a reality and he hates Charlotte with every fur on his body

Oooh! Canonic bisexual!!!

Darcy Brianna Tyler

Uh oh. Dramaaaaa!

Ayme Sotuyo

Heโ€™s an important character that shows up later! And also heโ€™s Ernestโ€™s ex ๐Ÿ‘€

Darcy Brianna Tyler

Will we learn more about Rico later? I wanna ask so bad about his relationship to Ernest, but that would probably spoil some things?

David Blair

You say that like theyโ€™re not *already* at the filthy horny stage

David Blair

Native English speaker here. Better phrasings might be: โ€œDo you really buy that some spoiled high society brat came all the way here just to catch some radicals by herself?โ€ or โ€œDo you really buy that some spoiled high society brat would come all the way here just to catch some radicals by herself?โ€ Youโ€™d use a past (perfect?) tense in the first case because Charlotte is already here, meaning she made the trip in the past. As for the second phrasing, I think it would be roughly equivalent to the Spanish subjunctivo, but I never did really learn it. Iโ€™m not entirely sure why โ€œbuyโ€ and โ€œsomeโ€ need a โ€œthatโ€ between themโ€”itโ€™s been a long time since grammar schoolโ€”but it is grammatically necessary. The closest Spanish equivalent would be โ€œqueโ€.

StLOrca (pronounced Ess Tee Ell Orca)

โ€œNo, Chuck, I am _not_ going to introduce you to that โ€˜juicy, ripe little number I work withโ€™. Iโ€™m not going to introduce you to Charlotte, either.โ€

Ayme Sotuyo

Theyโ€™re detective partners and also dating โ˜บ๏ธ

Ayme Sotuyo

Sounds ok to my ears, like heโ€™s speaking in a future tense but I dunno enough about English to have the best grammar ๐Ÿ˜…

jowee

Ohhhh are chuck and Arthur together?

Inwoods

> Do you really buy some spoiled high society brat to come all the way here just to catch some radicals by herself?? Some missing words I think? Or just "to come" -> came?

Barion

I love this! It will be so fun to read!

Ayme Sotuyo

He will be Boo Boo the Fool

Okay but I'm reveling in this because we all KNOW that Ernest is gonna get distracted by Charlotte despite his effort not to

Pega S.

I want "enemies to lovers", not "mildly annoyed by one another to lovers". LOVING THIS, can't wait to see more, like always ๐Ÿ’•

Milky Cream

Enemies to lovers is easily my favorite trope ๐Ÿ’˜๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ”ฅ

Amber Cox

Somehow people forget the whole enemies have to actually start out enemies and, you know, hate each other first? Then they get a wonderful thing called โœจ๏ธcharacter and relationship developmentโœจ๏ธ that let's us get to the filthy horny stage. ๐Ÿ˜
