As a new mom The Afflicted was definitely pretty shocking but it also had that beautiful rendition of Lula Lula Bye Bye which I liked so much that I sing it to my baby every night now

Yeah, The Afflicted and Bleak Prospect are the two most difficult listens for me, for the reasons already touched on in the recording and in the comments. Horror, I feel, really viscerally reminds me of what I value and fear most, which is a good thing to know about yourself. But yeah - can very much empathise with Dan needing to take breathers editing The Afflicted, I feel like the editing process would be even more confronting than the in-scenario moments themselves because you are in a very different headspace when editing alone.
