TFTC they don’t tow the party line > toe teleporteduse > teleported us

iceknight90

The kids getting Brock a scrapbook was super cute.

BronRevo

Rewatching the Pokemon anime reminded me that Brock had a passion for Pokemon Breeding? Are the habitats for Alolan Golem and Hisui Growlithe the extension of this passion? Or will it show in another way?

Reikon67

Couldn't the easy solution to this is just to keep some growlithe eggs there instead.

Reikon67

I think the blackthorn elders have enough problems with trying to control lance, so them not giving him a megastone is just one of many ways they try to maintain some illusion of control over him.

Reikon67

Well there be any more adventure through grandpa canyon for any underground exo systems that may still support life and will you do anything with Brock's Kabutops during the blood moon episode, were all of the stone Kabuto came back to life and went into the ocean.

ShyGuy42

Ah thank you! Its been a while since I read that

Jean Marc Kunnen

No he definitely got it from steven, he traded it for a favor and steven used said favor to escape a legal battle with blaine

Here’s the windup for the sucker punch. I’m calling it now. Frontier Brain Politics has an interesting implication. It may be that, what ever the resulting fallout comes from this, the end state is a decentralized Battle Frontier fronted by Scott, the guy who owns the Battle Frontier in the anime and Manga. I could easily see this conflict being the powder keg that splits the league into sub organizations. The international police, the Gym Leaders and Elite Four, The Battle Frontier, The Pokémon Rangers. What better way to counter Brock then throw a political problem that they can’t punch their way out of. Also a fantastic large conflict for Mew Two to observe and learn about humanity before maybe helping with the more hectic world events.

It's been about 300 chapters, but I don't recall Lance's megastone being sourced from Steven Stone. As part of an old Dragon clan, they would be secretive enough to keep that as a secret weapon. Until Megastone knowledge came out. Blackthorn would be sneaky enough to have kept it a secret since ancient times. I mean, the Crusher clan has knowledge of megastones if we go by that bone crown. So, Lance's megastone could be sourced from Steven, or it's an ancestral relic.

She popped up on an island in Hoenn, got sedated, then broke out of the facility after stealing supplies to continue her adventures.

Goodness I do love the politics chappies, always super interesting to see the level of influence a gym leader has, and how that interacts with the League.

Bat

Hmmm remind me again where was the last time Lola was seen? Was it Hoen? Also love seeing the politics!

BlackRazaras

Thanks for the chapter

Crimson Grave

I just loved the surprise Pryce team up we got here. XD Poor Claire though.

rezo42

I find the contrast between this chapter and chapter 290 amusing. Brock has a much better sense of humor for kids being kids when it isn't his property on fire/ sunk into the ground.

HoldTightAndPretendItsAPlan

Thanks for the chapter!

i think for kong to become a major gym leader he'll have to move cities, which i see him refusing out of sheer stubbornness in wanting to beat sabrina and become saffron's major gym leader

Jean Marc Kunnen

the guy you're thinking of is president kruger and with all the stuff that happened this circuit had him really tired of all the political bullsh*t so i doubt it's him, that and his term ends after the circuit ends

Qweku_v

Very interesting and Nice build up for the future chapters

Petrox

Now there is a huge unbalance with the male/ female gym leader ratio in kanto. Imagine Brock saying hi to the only other male, Kong, that hates his girlfriend's gym

ShinLupin

Not falling for trap by fast-walking through, was Daisy badly misread or is she better at that game than anybody suspects? A popular, socially-active girl like her might have played politics back in school. If these tactics still work, well that paints the other faction here as really childish. Now that would be a Story-Arc: Erika's rise to political power in Indigo, taking much in self-defense against wanna-be masterminds! Or TRO making their first moves...

readerdreamer5625

If I recall, them getting spoiled and becoming indoor dogs has actually slowed that down a lot. Since they're usually indoors and not actually, you know, living in the volcano as they should've been.

readerdreamer5625

So the government is trying to lower the Gym Leaders' independence by trying to involve the Battle Frontier? I wonder if Lance is indeed involved in this though. From his last Interlude, while he's wary of Brock, it's not to the point of wanting to make an enemy out of him. Suppose it isn't him, and the suspects increase. There's the Pokemon League of course, wasn't there that guy that was unhappy to be seen as an aide to Lance and not as the president of the League? There's also Fiore itself as well, considering they're getting involved here...

David Green

Love the story 😀 Earlier you mentioned that it took years to get the alolan geodudes, are we to expect that timeframe for the hisuian growlithes or will Brocks experience speed it up?

Antony Wilson

Another banger, love the update
