This song is a spiritual follow up to Syncopation (2nd album, Metal Resistance 2016) Also, from Babymetal’s DaDaDaDa digest video on their official channel, on Algorism: A J-metal anthem built around the idea that “all history returns to its roots.” This track takes you back to the early days of Babymetal, nostalgic and powerful. In Young Guitar Mag’s interview: They noted that Algorism was the very early scientific term used for counting, eventually becoming obsolete. Algorithm has a different meaning, but is widely used. Both words derive from the name of the same Persian Mathematician. So the title is Kobametal’s nerdy way of a callback to older Babymetal. Also, the song talks about the “algorithm” of love, etc.
