🕑 Added 2025-03-08 18:30:02 +0000 UTCI had a simple goal in mind when working on this sketch I did awhile ago: to use only two colors from the ref of these characters. This wound up being the red from Nia's choker and the indigo from Fabrice's blueberry color. I saw some really cool pop/hyperpop art lately and wanted to do something similar.
Why is Fabrice sucking on their fingers? Probably because deep down he wants to suck on another part of Nia but he's not allowed to. Or perhaps it's Nia's attempt to grab Fabrice's tongue. Its up to you, the same way my brain cant seem to decide the ''''true'''' outcome and instead ruminates on many at once until they either align under a similar vision or I pick a very specific one lol.
I don't have many updates outside of a depressive/nervous episode I'm doing my best to fight. I'm trying to keep myself occupied with work (mainly commissions and running errands for the family so I don't spend time doom-scrolling, listening to news, or anxiety-driven doomsday prepping (I wish I was kidding on that last one.) This isn't an invitation to discuss politics/current events, this is just me going 'hey things just suck right now and the entropy is getting to me which is why if I seem very distant/inactive lately its because im trying to avoid the near-constant stream of anxiety-inducing depressing stories/scenarios/events that the internet seems hellbent on having me see.'
Nevertheless I'll be okay, or at least, I'm doing my best to be okay. On a lighter note(s), I've been trying to do more cooking for myself since its cheaper and also it feels good to just curate something to your specific wants that way. I've also been getting back into sculpting polymer clay trinkets and jewelry. (They're not super great-looking to me but they're fun to make!) Its these smaller more constructive activities that help put my mind at ease.
