He's going to be rolling for awhile... (ANIMATION)
🕑 Added 2024-07-13 19:30:02 +0000 UTCHowdy! Long time no see, hope everyone's been well. I've been pretty busy for awhile but Im glad I finally got to get back to drawing round peeps haha.
Anyways, this is my first animation I've done in awhile, and I think my first that I've done a bg and other moving parts to!
In case anyone is wondering, this is a relatively newer character named Redacted (I'm soo original ikr (sarcasm)), he and his coworkers (one of which is shown), work in a lethal-company type scenario. Depending on the vibe ig they can also be thrown into Among Us or any other space-exploration horror thing lol. Redacted always gets caught in scenarios that lead to him becoming an oversized ball/blimp/bloob. I want to do more with him and the others but alas we shall see!
I wanted to include my process behind my animations, since I'm a stickler for pathways. At one point in time I had to flip so many of my frames around on the timeline to make him roll in the direction you see in the final product. I knew something didnt look right until I finished.
Included in this is also the doodles that initially inspired this route of thought. The slimes make him...big. lol
I hope this animation is enjoyed as much as I enjoyed making it. I don't consider myself a super talented master animator but I am indeed stubborn haha. Nevertheless, I learned some new things about csp and figured out some things to speed up my own animation process. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to do a full-fledged animation with voice acting and scene changes, but who knows!
