This update brought back the upgrade system! This upgrade system is now closer to what I envision it will work, with special upgrades rewarded by the Targets' perks! Not only that Targets now generate Essence from sex act, a essential resource to unlock the revealed upgrade.
That's right, now most Targets have their first 2 level's perk implemented! The perks implemented in this update include, ability to make the target follow you without the Halo (also across the map), closing a location to prevent NPC from spawning and etc!
Some basic shops system is also reimplemented with the cafe and restaurant offering consumables that will replenish stamina! You can now work in the Cafe once you obtain the perks required! (Talk to Ava or Zahra).
Based on the feedback received, I also implemented some quality of life changes. Interaction to install the Halo is now also in the interaction menu to prevent confusion. You can now hold down left click to move, clicking on a target also cause the player to follow the Target, and will also auto interact with the Target upon reaching it. I also added an indicator to easily differentiate the Target from the environment.
The suspicious state have also been rework so that the NPC no longer awkwardly stand and stare there once they see the Halo (rude). They now will notice the Halo and raise the suspicion meter, but will carry on in their lives hiding the fact that they witness something awkward like a couple kissing in public. Additionally, talking and events will now freeze time. Sex act will also freeze time but will forward the time first.
Lastly, Ava and Lisa also got their casual outfit!
Not only that, with the added 0.26 , a few bugs have been fixed and weird perk requirement have been removed to avoid confusion. Zahra and Ava's café job perk no longer requires talking to the target but enable automatically once target have reached said level. Location control perk now give player a key item as indicator. Antonia and Priya perks have also been added to complete all Targets perks up to level 2.
The in game console have also been added for public version for debugging purposes. This does not grant them cheat access so that the privileges of Premium Tester(Patreon) will be preserved.
As for Testers accessing The Halo Project via their Android devices, the access interface(game) have been updated to support newer devices.
Finally, the credits screen have been added to thank all Testers that enjoy The Halo Project! Shoutout to DJ Howard as The Halo Project's very first S-tier supporter and his generous support. Thank you to all Testers once again, my very existence is the result of your support and I am infinitely grateful. Happy hunting!
