I found this resource that includes the 単語 and Pitch Accent for tons of common words, including example sentences for teachers to use in class. I'm unsure of how well-known this is but I think this may useful! https://kyoan.u-biq.org/tango.html

This app is over 4 years old. It apparently has requested microphone access as I verified I grant permission. It never offers to record my voice nor displays the waveform window. Perhaps an iOS 14 issue but they claim ios14 support.

I tried Ganbatte just now. It doesn't seem to work well. For Task 1, all the controls in the bottom 1/2 of the screen are dimmed, so at first glance, they do not appear to be active. The difference between "selected" and not it too subtle.

Hi, Maelle; thank you for your comment. I hope that Ganbatte Shadowing gets fixed soon, because it's a good resource for learners (as you know). Some apps have a support link either in the app or the app store; if you can, I think it's a good idea to let them know what you're seeing. Oh, and thank you for your review of the app. It helps to share your experience with others!

Yomichan is a very similar chrome extension, and like Rikaichamp for Firefox has pitch accent info as well as audio for anyone interested in that functionality, but uses chrome. Makes quick pitch accent checks a lot quicker since you don't have to go to another web page

Dear Dogen, thanks a lot for your message! I created a quick review of the app Ganbatte Shadowing because I really like it and made a lot of progress using it. I find that the intermediate part is the best and there is enough material for the app to last more than a year. But I have been trying to use it recently and cannot access the pitch part any more! I just found out that the NHK accent dictionary is now available on an iOS app with recordings for every word by announcers! https://news.nhk-book.co.jp/archives/10093 I checked and it’s available for purchase in the app in the US that’s half the price as the print version. Sorry if you already know about this!

The new update for Rikaichamp is awesome! This will make my pitch accent studies so much easier, having to look up every single word on another page has always been kind of a pain. Definitely also gonna check out the Ganbatte Shadowing app. Thanks for the suggestions and stay healthy!
