Hi Snake. Not sure what the issue could be here (I was using it on my computer), but hopefully things are fixed with either a newer version of the anki app, or the newer version of the deck that I've just posted. Cheers!

For some reason the deck's audio doesn't work on AnkiMobile. Not sure how to fix it

Hi Josh! Thanks so much for the comment—I've passed this on to the deck creator; hopefully I'll be able to update again soon. Cheers!

Hope you feel better soon and thank you for the deck! I think there is a minor problem with the 暑い vs 厚い cards. Above the pitch diagram for the word 厚い, the large text incorrectly says "暑い". The pitch diagrams, pictures, and audio are all correct though.

Will try to get this done. Cheers!

Hey wishing the best for you! When working any job, it's fully understandable to have sick days and other health issues that need to be resolved!

If you haven't already, you might want to push to get some thorough blood tests done. It could easily detect or rule out many potential issues (e.g. anemia comes to mind).

Thanks for your 2 cents Jonathan, will try to do a bit of research on this!

Thanks for the advice Arkaaito! Have heard a bit about electrolytes now, so will try supplementing with those. Cheers!

Always try to get a lot of nutritional yeast, but will order a b12 supplement as well!

Pfft... you're slacking! I'm going to unsubscribe because you're not sacrificing everything to meet my expectations! Health issues are no excuse! .......... Just kidding, of course! Please take good care of yourself! I actually get the impression that maybe you work *too* hard, so please rest up, relax, and take your time to get these health issues properly sorted out. You have my full support.

You come first and your health is important, take some time off if necessary. Thank you for this update video and thank you for everything you do. I hope to catch the stream this Saturday. 頑張って!

I'm no professional by any means, but it kinda sounds like a condition my cousins has called POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). The only symptom that doesn't align is the spotted vision you mentioned.
Julian Stevenson
Orthostatic hypotension is one of the terms in English.

Ouch! I'm so sorry -- your mysterious illness sounds eerily like my medical issue. I hope you get a speedy and accurate diagnosis, one that gives you the tools to manage it effectively. Edit: I hope you were looking for a pile of well-meaning medical advice from amateurs on the internet. Since everyone else is throwing in their $0.02… ;-) This *does* sound an awful lot like a low blood pressure problem. You can get a home blood pressure monitor quite affordably, ~$70US for an upper-end one in the States although I suppose it could be pricier in Japan. Mine was invaluable to the early stages of diagnosing my problem; while I didn't get a precise formal diagnosis until years later, it allowed me to confirm that my bad episodes correlated with my blood pressure being unusually low, and to ameliorate it by keeping my electrolytes and weight up (and other such things as I found to buoy it).

Sounds like you are talking about vertigo. Hope you get well. Are you still vegan? Make sure you are taking a vitamin B12. I've been vegan for nearly 7 years and I make sure I get my B12 every week. I don't know if that will help you but it is just a thought. If I can be of help, let me know. お大事に!

Thanks for the update Dogen! Just wanted to second everything ssjoel3k said. And perhaps mention trying an elimination diet.

Thanks for everything and glad to hear that you are prioritizing your health. Please take care of yourself, the videos can wait.

Thanks for the updated deck! I’m sorry to hear about your health issues, it’s hard to say what it could be, and perhaps you’ve looked into it already but I would definitely look at your diet first. Those symptoms sound like either low blood sugar, low blood pressure, or low oxygen levels. I would try to avoid sugars and caffeine if possible and make sure you’re getting enough carbs, protein and fats in your diet. In my experience, the combination of proper sleep, diet and exercise usually eliminates those kinds of symptoms. Best of luck!
