Hi Enoch! I'm not sure I understand your question, as you clarified it with 'accented particles*'. Are you asking how I find the accent of accented particles, or the accent of accented long particles? Thank you!

Hi Dogen! Random question, but how do you find the accent of accented long particles, aside from just listening to spoken Japanese? I find it difficult to hear pitch accent if I'm listening for meaning and don't already know it (I hear it unconsciously and could tell if it's wrong, but struggle to pick up where the downstep is exactly sometimes). Thank you!

Hi Berion! Thanks for the question! I actually will continue to make new lessons, they will just be focused on more elementary topics (to be clear, these won't be re-makes of older lessons). With regards to your question, I wasn't able to find a definitive answer with the resources I have with me at the moment, but I believe that the words you mentioned are not considered long particles, and thus typically maintain their own unique pitch-accent patterns during conversation (within the rules of sentence-level pitch-accent, of course). Sorry for not being able to answer in more detail now, and look out for a new lesson soon! Cheers.

Dogen, thank you for the video! Though I'm a little bit sad that you are not going to do new videos for some time and will remake some of the old ones. I have a question concerning the topic of the video. What is the rule for words like について、に伴って、に連れて and so on? Are they all behave themselves as から?
