Production update 2021-05-22

I promised quick updates! And I'm not delivering!
As it turns out, I had a bit of a rough week. I lost the momentum I had before my break and I'm struggling to get it back. I was unhappy with how I was spending my time, so I decided to try and make a quick day plan. I made that decision around 1 pm, so here's how the rest of the day went:
This is my issue when I'm not fully invested. I get sidetracked and end up browsing the Internet or watching YouTube videos, nothing really helpful/productive or even engaging. It's these dozens of chunks of time per week that really drag me down. Hey, at least I did make these croissants.
So, progress has been minimal, aside from today. Today's progress has been small in terms of how much time I edited, but pretty good in terms of how much work was done (although, as you can see, it could have been much better). I passed the 5-minute mark and worked on complex editing involving 20+ variables of positions and timers to keep track of in multiple different clips (talking about framerules again).
Obviously, I'm not meeting the initial deadline, like I said I probably wouldn't. I'm currently trying to make it by Saturday, May 29th. I really hope it'll be ready by the end of this month. I don't want it dragging along any more than that.
That's it for now! Sorry for the weak progress. I can feel my motivation coming back, though. I promise to do better in the coming days!

No need to apologize! I'm sure many on here would say the same. Motivation fluctuations happen all the time, I think the purpose of a patreon is to buoy those periods and make the act of content creation less cutthroat. At least that's how I see it
