Well that's part of the story, the other part was him saying that only black actors should interpret black (fictional) characters and also that people shouldn't complain when black actors interpret lighter skinned characters. See the double standard there? As for the voice acting part, no matter your skin color, the only thing that should matter is the quality of your voice acting, period.

The fan art thing pissed me off cause my man AJ Beckles who voices okarun in the dub is a person of color and I remember seeing all the hate he was getting because he made the fan art his pfp on twitter so much hate he had to leave the app
