Thanks! Camera movement is with mouse (right mouse button) and wasd.

150-160 FPS with v-sync forcefully turned off through nvidia-settings on an i7-8086k + RTX 2080 at 3440x1440 with the black bars. How do I turn the Camera?

Puppetmaster3dx

Yes, but prior was pre-rendered and this is now real-time :)

Jeff

Are these the final graphics? They're nice, but I feel like the prior engine before unity had higher definition.

Puppetmaster3dx

Yes! Awesome! 💪

akka998

The new build on GTX 970 runs at around 45 fps!

Puppetmaster3dx

That stuttering is because the camera is a really horrible hack with physics applied to it at the moment. that will be completely changed in proper releases. Right now it´s only about performance.

Filth Epitome

Runs great. I have noticed in this build and the apartment build, that when panning the camera, the models seem to 'stutter', however I don't lose any FPS (143-144). Zooming in and out is fine, it is only noticeable when panning left to right. Is VSync on by default? I can check my Nvidia settings to see if it's forcing it.

Puppetmaster3dx

I made an update with a newer version. You should get double the frames now, please have a look and let me know, thanks!

Puppetmaster3dx

Those examples are purely for checking performance. Later on, once we have movies/a game there will be a lot of options for adjusting quality & performance. But a 1650gtx should have more frames... I have a laptop with a 1080 and around 50fps.

Bear-Meister

Will ther be some sort of option to this game ? Mine is getting a bit laggy, and only 11 fps on this one. I have laptop on i5 9300H, GEFORCE 1650GTX and 16GB DDR4

Puppetmaster3dx

That´s because the textures are massive. I only used 4k textures, some of them not compressed, for really maximum quality. That will of course also be optimized in the future. But in general it´s going to be big because of the textures.

Arnd Ludwig

Movement is good now, thanks. 30fps 4k fullscreen (Win10, i7, 1080). Textures look great, but 1.8GB? Why is this so big?

Puppetmaster3dx

Ok thanks for the info! We will have options for optimizations later on. At the moment it´s really max quality with best settings. 25fps is still ok for that matter.

Puppetmaster3dx

Yeah, that scene has more realtime lights that cast shadows and highlights. Thanks for the info!

Puppetmaster3dx

That stuttering is because the camera is linked to a physics object. The whole setup is a super edgy hack. So don´t worry about the stuttering. 71 fps is great!

TheGreatCornholio

This one ran a lot worse fro me as well. I got around 25 fps when looking at the characters. If I was looking at the walls I got around 30-40 fps. The max I got was 45fps, when I was looking at the ceiling.

akka998

Oh wow, on my GTX 970 it's now only ~20-25 when it was ~45 before :o

BopTop

If you still wanted performance/specs, it was running around 71 fps on my RTX 2070 super/Ryzen 3700X. I was getting noticeable stuttering/flickering? on frames when panning around, but I guess that's bc I'm running 144 Hz monitor and the frames were 1/2 that.
