Update: EP6 & Boobs

I hope you had a great week and that you are all well and healthy!
We just had several cases of Covid at the school of my kid. All the kids need to get tested and stay home for 10 days now. And we need to start with the whole contact tracing procedure, home schooling (again) and so on. It´s a bit crazy and hectic, but nobody shows any symptoms, so that´s the most important thing.
What else is going on?
- I am STILL waiting for final voice overs... It really freaks me out that this is taking so long. But some people were affected by Covid (and other things) as well and I just keep reminding myself to be patient.
- Same goes for the Cum-System! After the Programmer who is in charge finally came back to me, he showed me a stage of his work (after 3 months!) that was... Well it was amazing from a development and technology point of view, because he made had realtime fluid system. But it was super slow and just did NOT look great... So I decided, before we implement that, that we need to go for another system. I talked a lot about it to my coder friend and we both came up with an idea that the other guy can hopefully develop a lot quicker with much better results. It won´t be a real simulation then (which I honestly don´t care about) but should look good!
Long story short: We still need to be patient. While I am waiting I am working on the rigs and also help my friend with the Mocap-Studio. Once I have the final voice overs, I also want to make the final Motion-Capture animations for the remaining story elements of Episode 6.
And since I can´t leave without anything again, I want to show you a feature I implemented for the girls so we have less intersections when they are doing stuff!

Here is a video link of the boobs reacting to the upper arms. There are some limitations and the boobs will start flicking, but if we don´t overdo it, it should be fine :)
Alright, I will go back making calls and filling out forms for the contact tracing.

Do you mean Motion Capture or the Boob Collision? Actually both things are implemented to save time. Mocap because having characters move during a dialogue is a pain in the ass to animate (and rather boring) and the Boob collision to avoid intersections as good as possible and therefore also save time on fixing animations for specific cases.

will this be used for something specific in the video or did you just put it in because episode 6 is the latest one and it should have the most advanced techniques you can perform within a reasonable amount of time

Thanks! The boob collision is actually not a geometry collision. It's only with colliders and they only come in spheres or cubes, so we are kind of limited there.

Thank you very much! So far we are all negative and the ones that got infected don´t show symptoms. So we can be really glad for that. The whole situation is just a bit frustrating. People don´t get back to me in time, don´t deliver properly, etc. But yeah, we are healthy and that´s most important :)
