The island - or the monster, or whatever this "Alex" was - telling Ben it will hunt him down and destroy him if he would hurt Locke seemed weird to me. If it really was worried about Ben going after Locke, why did it let Ben live in the first place? Props to the actress though, she delivered that perfectly.
